WaterPure International Notifies OTCBB Of Computer Error That Posted Incorrect Information
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—August 20, 2007--WaterPure International, Inc. (OTCBB:WPUR) has notified the OTCBB of an apparent computer error at the OTCBB that has resulted in the addition of an “E” to the WPUR stock symbol. The addition of the “E” erroneously indicates that an SEC filing date has been missed. The OTCBB is reportedly correcting the problem.
Paul S. Lipschutz, WaterPure International Chairman states, “Investors researching our stock may see the “E” and mistakenly believe that we have failed to make a timely SEC filing. Since we report on a fiscal year that ends on June 30th, our filing due date is September 30th.
