WaterPure International Signs DoD Contractor to Introduce Atmospheric Water Generators to Military Divisions and Commands

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug 07, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WaterPure International, Inc. (WPUR), which markets a family of atmospheric water generators (AWGs) that produce pure safe drinking water from humidity in the air, announced today that it has accepted a dealership application from Dasal Technical Products, Inc., a United States Department of Defense certified contractor. Dasal will introduce AWGs to various U.S. military divisions and commands.

"Dasal has been supplying the DoD for more than seven years and is well versed in the nuances of U.S. Government sales and processes. This represents our formal entry into the U.S. Government market through an experienced DoD certified contractor. The DoD has numerous applications and schedules available for our AWGs. The applications range from provisioning water to troops and other field operations, to enhancing security for sensitive locations. Using an AWG at a secure location eliminates the need for outside vendors accessing the location to deliver bottled water," continues Allen.
Dasal Technical Products, Inc. is the most recent addition to WaterPure's expanding national distribution network. In July, the Company announced the appointment of Midwest Future Technology, LLC as its Master Distributor in the Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky tri-state region. WaterPure also established a Regional Distribution and Fulfillment Center in Miami to address the South Florida regional market. In June, WaterPure launched a Nuclear Power Plant AWG Pilot Program, placing its AWG inside a selected nuclear plant. The Pilot Program is also addressing the security advantages of eliminating bottled water delivery from outside vendors.
